What is the hot-stamping printing technique?

Hot-stamping belongs to the dry printing techniques. It is a variant of embossing in which decorative or informative elements are applied to the material under the influence of heat. Suitably prepared die stamps and a special foil are used. This is pressed onto the material by a heated die, resulting in a striking stamp imprint on the decorated product. This technique allows even the smallest details of the selected motif to be reproduced.
